“Mysterious birds” – Katta II Grüner

Legends of the world

Artist Katta II Grüner presents her new painting exhibition “Mysterious Birds”, which will be open in the gallery space of Hotel Europa until 30.04.2026.

The birds depicted in the exhibition are inspired by encounters the artist had in 2025 and 2026. Each painting carries both a story and a message – the birds’ situations and images are hidden with language, signs and thoughts that invite the viewer to pause and reflect on the value of life. The central idea of the exhibition is simple but profound: one bird is as important as one person. In the scale of the universe, every life is equally precious.

Birds have been deliberately chosen to carry the message. There is something romantic yet mystical about them – they move between two worlds: earth and sky, the visible and the invisible. It is this mystery that allows us to speak of the fragility of life, of freedom and of responsibility towards nature.

My artistic language is Neo-Nauvism, influenced by Cubism, Art Deco, Pop Art and Romanticism. The works are inspired by nature and the relationship between man and nature. I convey traditions and stories through artistic language, capturing the situations of the moment and the feelings of society in a neo-Naivist and fairytale approach.

Come and be part of the exhibition!

The exhibition will be open 09.03.2026 – 30.04.2026.

Enjoy!
