The mole of Pärnu is definitely one of the major landmarks of Pärnu – it is, after all, a tourist attraction that is over 150 years old. The mole of Pärnu, once built to make the harbour deeper and revive trade, has now become a favourite venue for tourists.
Note! Legend has it that couples in love must walk together to the end of the mole, where they should seal their love with a kiss. This is said to bring eternal love to the couples!
Since 2019, a wide boardwalk leads to the mole from the Beach Park. The light traffic road built on piles is illuminated even in the dark, meaning that you can take nice walks there even after sundown.
